Invacare® Softform® Premier Active 2 Mattress – Single with pump
The Softform Premier Active 2 retains properties as a high risk reactive support surface however should a patient require
stepping up to an Active support surface, then a discrete pump can be fitted transforming themattress into a dynamic surface and delivering additional levels of pressure relief.
As a static mattress, the Premier Active 2 is suitable for patients considered at high risk of pressure injury development. The benefit of this system is that should it be deemed clinically necessary, the surface can be stepped up to a dynamic surface by fitting a pump to the air insert, thereby allowing additional levels of pressure relief. This reduces a lot of moving and handling issues as the mattress can stay on the bed for a wide range of patients.
